Colton's Corner

Here are the August 2006 pictures. The large gap in time is due to the lack of being able to find the digital camera and holding out on using the film camera in hopes of finding the digital one. Finally, I said, I've got to get pictures of this trip, so I bought some film and took that camera with us.

This past August, the trio of my household took a trip to Possum Kingdom State Park on Possum Kingdom Lake in Possum kingdom state -- naw just kidding with that last; it's really in Texas. I was on such a roll, I had to keep going. We had a blast and Colton had a lot of fun fishing. Mommy and Colton went on their first canoe trip. And we went hiking a couple of times on the trails near our cabin.

Colton has also become quite a photographer, though sometimes he gets a little too close. The digital camera would have probably worked better, but the film one has a little less lieniency on close-ups.

One other thing you may notice -- Daddy has no hair! I lost a bet with a coworker, and this trip took place during the period when I was shaving my head every day. I got mixed reactions, but Mommy was one of the ones who liked the hair, and everyone knows you gotta keep Mommy happy.

I'll work on getting Birthday, this years state fair trip, and a couple of halloween pics up sometime in the next couple of months. Stay tuned for more!
